Another LEGO Star Wars set has been revealed this morning with the Imperial Dropship vs. Rebel Scout Speeder (40755). The set has 383 pieces and will be available starting on October 1 and will retail for $39.99. The set features an Imperial Dropship with three Stormtroopers, a Rebel Scout Speeder with three Rebel Troopers and an exclusive QT-KT Droid. Update: Earlier I had this set as a gift with purchase due to the set number, apparently, it is not. The LEGO Shop has revealed the LEGO Star Wars Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber (40730) gift with purchase set which will only be available with a purchase of the UCS Jabba’s Sail Barge (75397). The 145 piece set features a larger scale brick-built lightsaber from Return of the Jedi. It will be available to Insiders from October 3-5 and to the general public from October 6-10, while supplies last. This may horrify Aubree, but my first Friends set was a GWP poly bag whose minidolls were promptly tossed aside and had to be hunted down when I did my first Friendshiptember. It has since been one of my favorite build challenges of the year. There is no other like it. Friendshiptember, quite simply, is an Instagram build challenge in September with loose rules.
