Are those jingle bells ringing? No, it’s the crinkly plastic bags inside each our six LEGO advent calendars. Friends and Disney, City and Harry Potter, Star Wars and Spider-man! It’s time to open some doors and find out who goes on the naughty and nice lists today. As ever, our intrepid TBB team is on hand with witty comments, insightful observations, and bad jokes for each day’s builds. And of course, you can add your own thoughts in the comments section each day! So without further ado, let’s crack open the build for day 4… Friends are fond of pets, and today we get our first! It’s a very small bunny, a very large carrot, and either a box and/or ramp. Disney gives Ariel an undersea palace. In the City box, we have a skateboard and helmet. Harry Potter provides our first Christmas tree of the season, topped with a star....
All year-round, we here at The Brothers Brick spend our time featuring amazing builds made by the LEGO fan community. But we figured, for the holiday season, it would be great to build something together. For each day from December 1st through the 24th, we’ll be posting instructions to a custom TBB advent calendar build, one part each day. Want to participate? You can find all the parts you’ll need for the TBB Advent Event from our announcement in November. Read on to see what we’re building today! Yet another day of floor construction. I promise, there isn’t much more of this. And here’s what it looks like in the real world: The post 2024 TBB Custom LEGO Advent Calendar – Day 3 [Feature] appeared first on The Brothers Brick. As ever, our intrepid TBB team is on hand with witty comments, insightful observations, and bad jokes for each day’s builds. And of course, you can add your own thoughts in the comments section each day! So without further ado, let’s crack open the build for day 3… Just 3 days in and another micro doll? This time it’s Ariel with a little gift in tow. Meanwhile, Friends offers up a day-glo snowboard and helmet (on loan from Barbie and Ken, presumably) and a tiny ramp of snow. In the City calendar we have a… SWEATER DOG?! Yes! Hooza good boy? Harry Potter offers up a table full of sweet...
Today, I am going to take you through my journey of creating a Great Ball Contraption (GBC) module out of a single $33 LEGO Technic set together with my Dutch-speaking GBC friends—and also show what the atmosphere is like at LEGO World Utrecht 2024 when you split up into teams. For background, BrickNerd-in-Chief Dave challenged me to build a GBC module from a single set and offered to provide the set, too. Deciding Which Set To Use While browsing LEGO.com, I searched for a relatively inexpensive set to ensure the module would...
